James P. Bodovitz

James P. Bodovitz is the Chief Compliance Officer at Royal Alliance. Jim has more than 20 years’ experience in the securities field. He joined Royal Alliance in February 2007, and manages a staff of compliance professionals responsible for a wide variety of compliance matters involving Royal Alliance and its financial professionals.

Prior to joining Royal, Jim was Chief Compliance Officer for Park Avenue Securities, LLC, a subsidiary and affiliate of The Guardian Life Insurance Company. He has also held a position with AXA Advisors, LLC. Prior to joining AXA, Jim served as a Branch Chief in the Enforcement Division of the SEC, after a number of years in private practice with a large New York law firm. He is a member of the New York, California and Washington, D.C. bars.

Jim received his J.D. degree from the University of Southern California in May 1984. He holds NASD Series 7 and 24 licenses.
