Insurance Services

The Insurance Services department functions as the insurance product marketing support department for Royal Alliance. Our job is to work with the advisor and help them make smart decisions regarding the use of insurance products and insurance based solutions. Our responsibility is to find out what role insurance plays in your practice, what type of service and support you need to grow that segment of your practice and then to bring that support to bear from any one or more of the Insurance Services Resources outlined below.

Focus Life Carriers

Royal has selling agreements with dozens of fine insurance carriers. However, only a few make the cut as Focus Life Carriers. While it is your choice on which carrier to use, we urge you to consider the merits of the Focus Life Carriers as the "best of the best". The Focus Life Carriers are specially selected insurance carriers who share our vision of maintaining a pro-active, aggressive internal insurance department and have demonstrated their willingness and ability to not only assist your Insurance Services department in delivering value to you, the Advisor, but to also facilitate the access and distribution of competitive, quality products and services. Each Focus Life Carrier has agreed to provide underwriting support, advanced planning support, operations support and other support as needed by our network of independent financial professionals. Many will also provide you with in the field, point-of-sale support on the more difficult cases you encounter.

Strategic Brokerage Partners

You will have access to our network of Strategic Brokerage Partners, regionally placed, through which you have available web-based term spreadsheets, long-term care insurance, fixed & indexed annuities as well as the traditional and variable life products from a select group of our Focus Life Carriers as well as many ancillary carriers. These independent brokerage agencies are committed to working with our network of Advisors and include:

Point-Of-Sale Support

You will have access to true, in-the-field point-of-sale support for those advanced insurance cases that are outside your comfort zone and which you do not feel comfortable handling on your own. The Insurance Services department has created regionally based relationships with the firm, LifeMark Partners, to deliver this hands-on concierge support. Use of LifeMark Partners will free up your time to focus on what you do best while not losing an important touch-point with your clients.

tioTERM (On-Line Term Insurance Order And Processing System)

tioTERM provides instant, reliable, term quotes based on a few simple health questions that every client can answer. Not just an order submission process or a quote engine, tioTERM is everything you need to quote, compare, select and order a term life policy, all on-line in an intuitive, easy-to-use, website. Competing products are quoted side-by-side for easy comparison, and product details are available online at the touch of a button. Orders are submitted through a simplified on-line form so tioTERM users never contend with voluminous applications or amendments and they do not waste valuable time scheduling exams or ordering medical records.

Advisors with Royal Alliance have access to an array of alternative investment products non-correlated to the market and intended for additional portfolio diversification for investors that meet defined suitability requirements. For example, our alternative investment offerings allow advisors access to diverse asset classes such as real estate and natural resources (including timberland and oil and gas).
